TimeTechnix® Features & Information

TimeTechnix is a simple time keeper for tracking work on a project. It allows virtually hands-free time keeping with an automatic start-stop feature.
  • Time is only recorded while there is mouse or keyboard activity at least every 5 minutes. After inactivity for 5 minutes, it stops recording time. It also subtracts any extra time added during the 5 minute 'grace' period.

This way when you forget to stop recording time when you went to lunch for example, you don't add time to a project.

  • 'Inactive' time is tracked and displayed.  This way if you where away at a meeting, you can see how long there was no activity on your computer and add the time in manually.

Also, if you know you were away for 2 hours, and only 15 minutes show up as 'Inactive' time, you know someone else was using your PC.

  • It automatically starts recording time (unless you have selected Stop mode).

For example, when you come back from lunch you don't have to remember to restart the timer. It senses activity and starts keeping time again.

  • Project time is automatically saved every minute, so you don't have to worry about loosing any data.

  • It keeps daily records of time for each User / Project combination.

  • You can add multiple users (only one active at a time) and multiple projects.

  • You can manually override the automatic time keeper by making entries in the H:M fields.

  • There are quick reports of the total hours on a project and the current day's hours for a user.

  • The data can be exported and then imported into a spreadsheet or database.
