TimeTechnix exists because I'’m an independent contract-programmerthat needs an accurate record of time worked on various projects.

I tried several other time tracking programs and found a couple that were helpful.

However I was too brainless to remember to Start and Stop the timer... which was great for accumulating lots of hours on a project, but bad for giving me a record I could bill from.

So, I wrote a timekeeper that automatically stops timing when I stop working.

And, it automatically restarts when I start working again.

Also, it uses very small amount of Window's system resources.

Finally, I released it as Freeware because I don't have the time to support it. Plus, I use lots of super free software and hope this helps others as much as I've been helped by other Freeware authors.

However, if there is interest in a 'Corporate' networked version that uses a central database with multiple users, reporting, etc... I may release a 'Shareware' time keeper version in the future.

If after using this product, you are interested in a 'networked' version, contact bruce@timetechnix.com

Program running in reduced size or 'Small' window mode is shown here:

Full size window... keeping time for User BruceR on the way2 Project.

It’s simple, no-frills, user interface isn’t perfect… but works for me.

A couple of tips:

-When TimeTechnix is the active window
(blue title-bar), it doesn't keep time.

-The Delete key ( Del ) deletes the entire entry in the User and Project fields.
To erase characters in the User or Project fields, use the Backspace key.

-Once a User or Project is added, you can’t edit the entry. This is because I’m using simple text files to store the data… changing the User - Project entries would cause you to loose track of the time for that User or Project.
